Everything is Energy! Our cells as well as our thoughts. Energy is ideally always moving – when it’s not, problems could arise.
Everything we encounter and experience has an impact on us to some degree as it comes into and is processed in our energy fields/energy bodies. Think of when you are in a room of happy people, or around a happy person – unless you are holding on to thoughts that keep you “down,” you can, if you take a minute to notice, feel that vibration of happiness. The same is true for any other emotion. “I feel you.”
When we recall an emotion-filled situation whether it’s a good one, or not so good. In the case of an experience that felt good, we can draw on the memory of those feelings when we could use a lift. In the case of experiences that were difficult, the energy of that memory is also felt, meaning, that sadness, regret, guilt, etc. is still with you and affecting your day-to-day life, possibly keeping you stuck in patterns you’d rather not have. We all have had experiences that we may or may not be aware of, or have a conscious memory of, that are causing dissonance, or distortions that keep our energy fields from flowing optimally. This can be the case if you feel, even occasionally, unhappy, tired, stuck, frustrated, etc. or feel you just can’t “get ahead” or feel you aren’t good with relationships, or just plain “not good enough.”
This energy can be detected by those trained to feel or see it. This is an innate ability – anyone can learn to do it, but, as with anything else, it takes an interest in doing so. Not everyone is interested in it just as not everyone is interested in being a brain surgeon. Fortunately, more and more people are learning to develop skills in many kinds of energy healing.
One energy healing method I’ve recently learned (and I’ve learned and experienced quite a few over the years) is Biofield Tuning, where a tuning fork is activated and used to scan the body slowly beginning from a distance.
The practitioner is feeling for resistance and turbulence in the client's energy field, as well as listening for a change in the overtones and undertones of the tuning fork. When the practitioner encounters a turbulent area he/she continues to activate the tuning fork and hold it in that specific spot. Research suggests the body's organizational energy uses the steady coherent vibrational frequency of the tuning fork to "tune" itself. In short order, the dissonance resolves and the sense of resistance gives way. This appears to correspond to the release of tension within the body. https://www.biofieldtuning.com/what-is-biofield-tuning
Many practitioners integrate Biofield Tuning with tools from other modalities; not everyone practices Biofield Tuning in the exact same way. I draw on the many years of learning about, using and experiencing energy healing and incorporate that with each session. Sometimes, I include HeartMath, Reiki, Chakra scanning/clearing, ancestral clearing, and others as needed. I always bring in Angels and Guides – mine and the client’s.
Following a session, clients typically report feeling "lighter" and that thoughts and feelings about past experiences have been cleared. To some degree it has given them a better understanding and perspective. This creates a path to the resolution of issues and difficulties they’ve experienced and have affected them possibly all their lives. I, myself, have experienced this clearing and resolving and now feel the joy that comes with being free of the thoughts and beliefs that have kept me stuck. There’s always more to clear, but I’m now feeling the excitement and courage to move forward as I follow my passion.
