Naturally Reduce Stressful Reactions
Many times we automatically react to day-to-day situations based on what is called “learned behavior.” This means that our reactions are based on what we have experienced in the past and our bodies react in the same way to some degree every time something happens that is not what we want: someone disagrees with us, or does something we find hurtful, or simply when a car cuts us off in traffic.
The programming is in our nervous system and is reinforced with repetition. It’s how we learn to ride a bike, drive a car, play a piano, etc.- all good things. But when it’s a reaction that we’re not happy about and doesn’t feel good, we can actually change that programming with simple yet profound science based techniques that can be done any time, anywhere so that the reactions that are triggered can become less stressful.
